Hello Fellow JSAers!
I am so excited for all of our MAS Activism projects for this year! Currently, we have been striving to find our speakers for Fall State, Winter Congress, and Spring State so that you will benefit greatly from informative lectures and question/answer forums. Along with the speakers at conventions, we will be working to keep activism locally in your chapters.
We will be working on a national scale to hold the Activism Project of the Month throughout the country. These projects may include thought-talks, debates, and PNC forums. I will keep you updated on these plans. |

Activism will playing a role in the Presidential Nominating Convention for the 2008 upcoming elections. At Fall State, please be sure you stop to look at our tri-fold boards, which will explain how the convention will work.
Activism would like to provide educational seminars and packets about the major issues in the news. We are currently planning the Built-A-Candidate Workshop in order to shape each individuals’ ideal president. We also stress to all those students who will be able to vote in the next election to fill out a voter registration card as soon as possible.
If you have any question, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact either me, Logan Shanney (MAS Director of Activism), at lashanney@yahoo.com, or Stephen Kaplan (MAS Assistant Director of Activism) at stevejkaplan@gmail.com. We would really appreciate your input! We are looking forward to hearing from you and having another outstanding JSA year.
Best,
Logan Shanney
