In addition to our state conventions, JSAers in the New Jersey or South Atlantic regions have the opportunity to attend many of regional conferences also organized by our student leadership.

These conferences, like their statewide counterparts, are full of the same invigorating energy and intellectual debates that the Junior State of America is famous for. Often attracting hundreds of JSAers, these one-day events are held in October and March of each year at some of our nation’s most

distinguished universities – most recently, the University of the District of Columbia, Yeshiva University, and even Princeton University! There are several other events throughout the year as well, including Debate Wars and Presidential Nominating Conventions.

Regional conferences provide members an outlet for expressing their political beliefs and questions through stimulating thought talks and debates. They also provide an opportunity for further learning through prominent guest speakers, who often debate each other before the entire conference.

Like state conventions, regional conferences are an excellent networking opportunity – they allow JSAers to meet new people of all types of beliefs and backgrounds. Perhaps best of all, regional conferences are FREE!
